About Vow&How
What is Vow&How?
Vow&How is an online wedding planning platform. It gives couples a private planning dashboard for their guest list, RSVPs, timeline, vendors and budget, together with a wedding website to share with guests - all in one place.
Do I need to download an app to use Vow&How?
No. Vow&How runs in the web browser on phones, tablets and computers, for both you and your guests. There is nothing to install.
How do I get started with Vow&How?
Create an account with your email address and a password, then enter your names, wedding date and venue. Customise your wedding website with your colours and photos, and share its link with your guests. From there you can track RSVPs and plan everything else from your dashboard.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every Vow&How plan starts with a free 7-day trial, and you don't need a card to start it.
What happens when my free trial ends?
The trial ends automatically. Because no card is taken for the trial, you are never charged unless you choose a plan yourself. To keep using Vow&How, pick a plan from the billing page in your account.
Your wedding website
What web address does my wedding website get?
Every Vow&How wedding website gets its own address on a Vow&How subdomain, such as yournames.vowandhow.com, which you can share with guests by message, email or on your invitations.
What can guests do on my wedding website?
Guests can RSVP, check the event schedule and venue details, and upload their photos from the day. On the Premium and Ultimate plans they can also request songs, view your gift registry, and read your FAQs and important notes.
Can guests access the website on mobile?
Yes! Your guest website is fully responsive and works beautifully on all devices: phones, tablets, and desktops. Guests can RSVP, view schedules, upload photos, and request songs right from their smartphones.
Can I customize the colors and fonts?
Yes! Every plan includes full customization of your guest website. Choose from our beautiful color palettes or create your own.
How does the photo collection work?
Guests can upload photos directly through your wedding website, with no app download required. Photos are organized by event and available for you to view, download, and share. It's like having hundreds of photographers at your wedding!
Planning tools
Which wedding planning tools does Vow&How include?
Every Vow&How plan includes digital RSVPs and a wedding day timeline. The Premium and Ultimate plans add vendor management, budget tracking, table seating assignments and gift registry management.
Can I track my wedding budget and vendors?
Yes, on the Premium and Ultimate plans. You can keep every vendor's details in one place and track what you have budgeted and paid across your whole wedding.
Can I plan table seating with Vow&How?
Yes. Table seating assignments are included on the Premium and Ultimate plans.
How do song requests work?
On the Premium and Ultimate plans, guests can suggest songs for your wedding from your website, searching Spotify to find the exact track they want to hear.
Can I export my guest list?
Guest list export is an Ultimate feature. On Ultimate you can export your complete list as Excel or PDF at any time - perfect for creating place cards, sending thank-you notes, or keeping records of your special day. On any plan, you can always request a copy of your data from us.
Plans and pricing
How does pricing work?
We offer three plans - Basic, Premium, and Ultimate - each available as a monthly subscription or a one-off, single payment. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout. No hidden fees.
What is the difference between the Vow&How plans?
Vow&How has 3 plans: Basic, Premium and Ultimate. Basic (up to 50 guests): Everything you need for a beautiful, organized intimate wedding. Premium (up to 200 guests): Everything most couples need to plan their wedding. Ultimate (unlimited guests): For couples who want zero limits and maximum control. How many guests can I invite?
It depends on your plan: Basic includes up to 50 guests, Premium includes up to 200 guests, Ultimate includes unlimited guests.
Can I change my plan later?
You can upgrade at any time, on both monthly and one-off plans. On a monthly plan you pay the prorated difference straight away; on a one-off plan you pay the difference between the two one-off prices. Downgrades are not available. You can also switch from a monthly plan to a one-off plan, but not back again.
Who processes payments?
Payments are processed by Paddle, Vow&How's merchant of record. You enter your card details with Paddle at checkout, and any refunds are issued through them.
Do you offer refunds?
You can request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment on a new account, whether monthly or one-off - just contact us. After that, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and we don't refund partial months or unused features. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time, and you'll keep full access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. If something isn't working for you, talk to us first - we'd rather fix it.
How long do I have access?
On a monthly plan, you stay active for as long as you're subscribed, and you can cancel any time - you'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. On a one-off plan, you pay once and your access runs until 30 days after your wedding date, with no renewal and no further charge. After the wedding, guest photos stay available for 30 days on every plan, and you can add extended photo storage if you need longer.
What happens to my data after the wedding?
Your data stays safe with us! You can download your photos on every plan, individually or in bulk. Exporting your guest list and account data is an Ultimate feature. Guest photos stay available for 30 days after your wedding on every plan, and you can add extended photo storage if you need longer. We'll never delete your data without warning.
